Isle of Raasay Gin is the first legal spirit released from Raasay, an island rooted in centuries of illicit distilling.
Rassay's handcrafted Hebridean gin combines ten carefully chosen botanicals, including Raasay juniper and their triple distilled spirit, putting island quality first.
Each bottle is lovingly distilled and bottled on the Isle of Raasay.
Local botanist Dr Stephen Bungard helped hand-pick only the best juniper on the island before they distil and infused the Raasay and traditional botanicals together in the copper malt spirit still along with local water from a well.
The result: a refreshing, zesty dry gin with a lasting aftertaste that encapsulates Raasay’s style, character and impressive geological variety.
Raasay’s remarkable geology, island shores, modern island distillery and unique water source inspired both the creation and presentation of the island’s first Hebridean gin.
Tastng Note
Nose - Fresh and aromatic, with juniper, citrus and a hint of rhubarb.
Palate - Dry with a burst of juniper, orange and a richer rhubarb note.
Finish - Dry and zesty.
