As one of Bunnahabhain's oldest single malts, this precious 30 year-old dram is the pearl in their shell. Like the abundant shellfish slumbering beneath the surface of Bunnahabhain Bay, it offers hidden depths and delightful treasures that can only be enjoyed once opened. Just like that rich undersea harvest, each drop takes patience and perseverance to perfect, three decades of watching and waiting, a unique character shaped by salt-rich air swirling above gently lapping waves.
Every dram is matured in ex-sherry casks under the watchful eye of the Distillery Manager. Only when it is fully formed is it freed from its coastal cocoon; its once-hidden bounty ready to be revealed and revered.
Hebridean waters aren’t usually famed for their pearls, yet once opened, this golden 30-year-old dram reveals a rich and precious bounty alive with sherry and caramel, swirling with berries and cream and a lingering touch of salt and spiced oak.
