John Crabbies Co was founded in Edinburgh in 1801. His meticulous records have revealed recipes for liqueurs dating back 150 years. Based on a recipe from 1858 this Scottish raspberry, blackcurrant and ginger liqueur combines the sweet berry flavours with fresh juniper and ginger to create a spicy warming drink, fantastic when drunk neat over ice or at the heart of a fruity cocktail.
At only 20% abv. its really nice as it comes out the bottle, but for a really low alcoholic and refreshing drink its lovely with your favourite tonic, or simple soda water lets the flavours show themselves off beautifully.
